Film Synopsis
RACE TEAM is an exciting, heart filled and comedic documentary that chronicles the adventures and mishaps of a hapless low budget sports car racing team, with four drivers and no pit crew. It's a dramatic journey through four years of racing, as they chase their dreams of making it big in the world of motorsports. It's a wild ride through their joy, heartache, struggle, internal conflicts, broken dreams, crashed cars and a forgotten helmet.

It's 'zero to dysfunctional in 4.2 seconds.'

The film is a cinema verite style documentary shot at various race tracks in California. It explores the little known world of club circuit amateur sports car racing. There are no multi-million dollar sponsorship contracts here. It is a world where people race cars, not for money but rather for cheap trophies and bragging rights. It is a constant struggle for many just to be able to build a car and keep it racing. It's expensive, time consuming, and a lot of work for a little bit of glory.

The film features drivers Peter Hopelain, Scott Allen, Gunnar Nettleship and Antonio Mazzola.
